Multivision – Interview

Interview with Pete Devine of Pete’s Rock News and Views (http://petesrocknewsandviews.com)

PD: What type of artist are you?

MV: We think of ourselves as an alternative band made of alternative people!!

PD: Tell us the brief history of yourself.

MV: Created as a home project n 2015 Stelios iatridis( Stim), Bill Ntanos and Jim Tzilopoulos, The 3 experimented on alternative music styles.By 2018 with the addition of Steph Laskos on drums, our Ep named Lucius pops out. Whilst performing we kept writing our own music and with the addition of bill melachroinos we began our production of our first album named choose which was released on October 2021. On September 2021 Jason glykidis joins our family as the main drummer and the band hits the road with some gigs and radio interviews,

PD: Who are your musical and non-musical influences?

MV: That’s a tough one. Each person we meet might be an inspiration in this life. In addition to that , we could point out some musical influences like Rhcp,Alter Bridge, Porcupine Tree, Kings of Leon , System Of A Down, Nirvana etc.

PD: What are your dreams and goals?

MV: Our ultimate goal is to share our music with the world. A second dream and goal is to travel around the globe and meet up with interesting people. If you pay for something at least this to be the experience! (Laughs)

PD: Who writes your songs, what are they about?

MV: We write our songs all together as a band. Our current songs speak about feelings, emotionally challenging situations, and some human standards as friendships or relationships. But we think that our songs can be perceived differently.

PD: How do you promote your band and shows?

MV: As an indie artist, we do it so ourselves, by different means. Currently, and due to COVID, we mainly promote our music via social media and online radio interviews. Apart from that, we just began   a collaboration with a Greek Booking and Promoting agency, Angels PR.

PD: What do you think about downloading music online?

MV: We find it a bit of an upsetting necessity, along with the streaming services. We always loved more traditionally means of music, such as CDs, vinyls, etc

PD: What song do you wish you’d written and why?

MV: We think that the best part about other artists’ songs is that we engage with them as an audience. And we cannot ruin this experience by any means.

PD: What are some of your pet peeves?

MV: The truth is, we don’t get easily triggered. However, when you don’t have your job done, you cannot avoid an awkward conversation with someone who ‘needs to hear this and that’

PD: What is your proudest moment in music?

MV: Watching faces from the crowd enjoying the moment is an absolute favourite!

PD: So what are you working on at the moment?

MV: We are working on promoting our First Lp called Choose, whilst preparing our second LP which name (First time to be announced!!) is Pareidolia

PD: Tell us about your next shows and why we should be there.

MV: During to a COVID 19 isolation/lockdown we are unable to see any forthcoming gigs. We may turn to Livestreams or even some radio shows. As for a reason of being there is simply because you are invited! 🙂
