The Swedish power trio MÄRVEL is preparing to honor an incredible milestone in style with the release of Double Decade. The band’s twentieth anniversary offering celebrates the band’s distinctive high-octane and super catchy rock ’n’ roll style. Double Decade will be unleashed on February 24th via The Sign Records.

“Double decade is the shining crown on top of our 20 year anniversary celebration! It’s two action packed albums filled to the brim with our most loved songs as well as a bunch of rare gems – previously very hard to get tracks. The album is a great testament to our fans who have continued to support us through the years. Double Decade is a labor of love and we’ve put a lot of energy into making it a very special item. The vinyl release includes a fine booklet with personal stories directly from our MÄRVEL Army presidents as well as the founding father of the MÄRVEL Army. BUT! We’re not only bringing old remnants to the table as you’ll also get to enjoy two brand new tracks – ‘Catch 22’ and ‘Turn the Page’. Long live rock & roll!”

The double vinyl contains MÄRVEL’s greatest hits, previously impossible to get B-sides, and rare tracks, all newly mastered by Magnus Lindberg (THE HELLACOPTERS, IMPERIAL STATE ELECTRIC, CULT OF LUNA, THE DATSUNS, TRIBULATION, LUCIFER). The compilation also includes two brand new, previously unreleased songs, mixed by Robert Pehrsson (Dundertåget, Death Breath, Robert Pehrsson’s Humbucker).

Double Decade will be available on vinyl in two different set of colors, one containing 2x transparent clear vinyl, and the other containing one transparent orange and one transparent purple vinyl. Both versions come in a luxurious gatefold with an exclusive booklet.

About MÄRVEL:
The band formed in 2002 when John Steen (The King), Ulrik Bostedt (Speedo) and Tony Samuelsson (The Vicar) spent a high school exchange year in Colorado, USA. While their grades may have slipped they gained success with college airplay around the USA. In 2012 Ulrik Bostedt replaced Speedo with Burgher bringing a raw energy on their international tours around Europe. In 2017 MÄRVEL joined The Sign Records to release their seventh studio album at the Sunshine Factory, and 2022 saw their latest album Graces Came With Malice unleashed.
