Lost by Karma
Lost by Karma is an industrial rock / dark wave band from Madrid, Spain.
Dahlia and Fr4gmented are two brothers who joined in 2013 to compose music together. After a period of consolidation of the definitive style of the band, it was not until 2016 when they presented with a version of the theme “Walking on my shoes” of Depeche Mode.
Dahlia is the singer and guitarist of Lost by Karma, as well as songwriter of the lyrics, and of the instrumental part next to Fr4gmented. It has as main influences when composing groups like The Cure, Depeche Mode and The Birthday Massacre among others.
Fr4gmented brings the most classic part, synthpop heritage of bands like Alphaville along with symphonic rock touches of Yes or Pink Floyd.
Double Bond is the first EP of Lost by Karma, which came to light on June 19, 2017. Composed of 4 songs intertwined through a melodic atmosphere full of electronic nuances of synthesizers reminiscent of the dark wave of the eighties. It has some powerful guitars and some vocal melodies that try to give the feeling of duality with the different effects and choirs. This combination gives rise to a bizarre and dark environment that seeks to lead to a free interpretation by the listener of the story that counts.
