Keep This Up Unveil Lyric Video For “Find Myself”
New Single Out Now!
With their musical rebirth from pop punk to post-hardcore well underway, Peterborough based upstarts Keep This Up are delighted to announce their next single. Find Myself is released today (2nd of March) and is the follow up to Bury Me, which was the first track to showcase their new, much heavier musical approach.
Lyrically, the song is about a journey of self-discovery, and of realisation of what can be truly important. We hand over to the band for the full explanation:
“Lyrically stemming from the feeling of always having to prove yourself, and breaking yourself time and time again to be someone you’re not for the people who don’t matter. How far will you push yourself and who are you trying to prove yourself to in the end? How long will it take to find yourself again? The person you truly want to be.
This was the first of the new tracks we started performing live as a 5 Piece, and found that no matter where we played we could get a sing-along with the anthemic hook at the end. The vocals under the chorus acting as almost that voice in the back of your mind – second guessing and telling you there’s nowhere to turn to.”
Keep This Up – aka Jared (Vocals), Chris (Guitar), Jon (Guitar), Dan (Bass) and Dan (Drums) have embraced their love of heavier music and are now reflecting that in their own songs. The first single showcasing their new musical direction, Bury Me, was released in January and can be checked out on YouTube on this link. In addition to YouTube, Bury Me is also available to listen to on your streaming platform of choice on this link.
