Johnny Stott in his own words…..
I’m Johnny stott a guitarist & singer/songwriter, my passion for music began at a very young age, my mum and dad have always been into music and owned a juke box with vinyl records. We all used to sing and dance along to the music at home. My siblings also hold a passion for music. I started playing guitar when I was 7 years old, my brother started teaching me then following realisation of pure passion and talent for the guitar I began professional lessons. I could write guitar music as soon as I learnt all the chords, writing music helped me get across my passion and emotions without the use of lyrics, which I began to write later on as soon as I knew what life was all about.
I am an engineer by trade but also studied music in collage. I have voluntarily taught adults and underprivileged children how to play the guitar.
Throughout the years I have been part of punk bands, salsa bands and blues bands. I have played alongside some great musicians and my passion will continue to grow.
