PD: What type of artist are you?

JS: Passionate and inspirational

 

PD: Tell us the brief history of yourself.

JS: Played from a young age, vocals and song writing came at a later date when I knew more about life in general. I have Taught under privileged children how to play guitar and have taught in schools. Done lots of voluntary playing with bands. Trained mechanical and electrical engineer by trade.

 

PD: Who are your musical and non-musical influences?

JS: Musical the band free, Robert Johnson

Non musical influencers , my dad.

 

PD: What are your dreams and goals?

JS: Goal to always be supportive of my friends and family.

Dream is to live on a sailboat in St Lucia.

 

PD: Who writes your songs, what are they about?

JS: I write them, all about life and hopefully people will relate to the music I write.

 

PD: How do you promote your band and shows?

JS: I don’t, My manager- John balding does all the promoting ect.

 

PD: What do you think about downloading music online?

JS: I don’t think it’s a problem, as long as the artist gets paid.

 

PD: What song do you wish you’d written and why?

JS: Bing Crosby – white Christmas, it’s made a shed load of money and gets played year in and year out. I’m hoping to creat a Christmas song this year so watch this space.

 

PD: What are some of your pet peeves?

JS: John, my manager talking away whilst I’m trying to record a song.

Littering! Can’t stand it and also lack of manners, it costs nothing to be nice.

 

PD: What is your proudest moment in music?

JS: Taught in school for under privileged children, giving them a sense of achievement and giving them another direction in life.

 

PD: So what are you working on at the moment?

JS: Working on bringin out an a
