Bio: Jake’s Mistakes is a Gothic Punk/Metal 4 piece from St. Louis MO. Many of our songs follow’s KAI’s character ark, a being of darkness that represents the dark thoughts many of us face daily. LABYRINTH is the final chapter in the character’s story. It’s about leaving behind certain habits, thought processes, etc. Personally, I used these songs revolving KAI as a form of meditation and therapy. However, now that I’ve indulged in this thought process for 3 years, there’s nowhere else for me to grow with this character, therefore we have to kill the mindset that is KAI. LABYRINTH explores that process of leaving behind the toxicity that has kept you alive for so long.
