Writing his first song aged 9, Stockport-based singer-songwriter and guitarist Jack B Dawson grew up experimenting with every instrument he could get his hands on. Now, after years of adamantly teaching himself the guitar and crafting graceful mellow indie tunes, his music has featured on the likes of BBC Introducing & Amazing Radio. His alt indie sounds & his profound lyrics are his speciality.
His songs being born from the sombre subject of heartbreak, is packed with beautiful acoustic melodies to contrast. Carefully crafted songs which can only be described as creating new and unexpected rewards with every repeat listen.
Jack’s live repertoire already includes notable slots around Manchester. Making appearances at shows curated by Shell Zenner (Amazing Radio), as well as having supported Clint Boon and Tom Hingley (Inspiral Carpets).
