PD: How would you describe yourself or your band as an artist?

DI: Incognito Theory is a unique blend  Southern Groove metal for fans of Black Sabbath, Alice in chains,  Down and the groove and attitude of Pantera.

 

PD: Can you tell us briefly about your background – i.e. where you’re from, how you came to make music, etc.

DI: I’ve been singing for almost 29 years, I’m from New Jersey born and raised. My idol is Scott Weiland of Stone Temple pilots he’s the reason why I became a singer and when I saw a plush unplugged on MTV head bangers ball in 1992 I knew I wanted to be a singer.

 

PD: Who and what inspires you to make music, both in terms of musical and other influences? What do you like to write about in your songs?

DI: I’m so eclectic as an artist so one word everything but I try to keep our songs very positive assure a damn good time for all our fans .

 

PD: What are your aspirations as an artist?

DI: Just to continue to write great songs. And have our fans worldwide enjoy what we do maybe get some touring under our belt .

 

PD: What is the proudest moment in your music career so far?

DI: Playing with a lot of our favorite artists such as Lynch mob, 40 below summer, ratt, Sebastian Bach, Kings x, danger danger and more.

 

PD: Promoting one’s music is such a challenge these days, especially with so many new artists emerging from bedrooms in the day of the home studio. How is that going?

DI: So far things have been going great really excited to release this brand new record the Brotherhood on rage breed records the UK global international.

But I will add is you got to enjoy what you love and for me music is life.

 

PD: And how do you book and promote your live shows and tours? Any performances coming up?

DI: Between our label our PR company in our self we pretty much do all that and yes CD release party at qxt’s September 16th with our friends Rock Kandy

 

PD: What do you think about downloading music online? What about streaming sites like Spotify?

DI: I personally feel any form of streaming or downloading is awesome but I do miss record stores and is very far and few between nowadays I’ve always loved the physical copy. And I love vinyls too.

 

PD: What song do you wish you’d written and why?

DI: Truthfully I wish that I could have written would by Alice in chains it’s a very well written song has a great Melody and awesome energy.

 

PD: Is there anything you don’t like about the music industry, which you would change if you could?

DI: I just think there’s so many great bands out there but I feel are underrated and don’t get a chance I love music so I enjoy what I do but that’s pretty much it I just wish we would as artists would be more appreciated.

 

 

PD: So, what are you working on at the moment?

DI: Well we just finished our brand new record the Brotherhood it comes out September 2nd it was executive produced by Steve Zing of Danzig
