PD: How would you describe yourself or your band as an artist?
ITAOV: We are a brutal slamming deathcore band just trying to make music we love & we hope you can also enjoy it aswell.
PD: Can you tell us briefly about your background – i.e. where you’re from, how you came to make music, etc.
ITAOV: We are from Toronto, ON Canada & we have all been in other bands and known each other for many years.
PD: Who and what inspires you to make music, both in terms of musical and other influences? What do you like to write about in your songs?
ITAOV: We write alot about the government, corruption of the world, hate & all things evil. life inspires us to make music & we love everything from Signs Of The Swarm & Lorna Shore to Deftones & Led Zepplin
PD: What are your aspirations as an artist?
ITAOV: To just enjoy the creative process of making music.
PD: What is the proudest moment in your music career so far?
ITAOV: Right now, about to drop our 10th album after being a band for 18 years.
PD: Promoting one’s music is such a challenge these days, especially with so many new artists emerging from bedrooms
in the day of the home studio. How is that going?
ITAOV: We could care less about being big and are more so just doing this for the love of it. we support all upcoming bands and wish them all the best <3
PD: And how do you book and promote your live shows and tours? Any performances coming up?
ITAOV: Yes all the time, we have a 3 day run coming up with march in Ontario Canada with a band called Omenkiller from USA.
PD: What do you think about downloading music online? What about streaming sites like Spotify?
ITAOV: It’s not what it use to be in the 90s thats for sure.
PD: What song do you wish you’d written and why?
ITAOV: No idea.
PD: Is there anything you don’t like about the music industry, which you would change if you could?
ITAOV: Lots of things but if we could change one thing it would be letting smaller bands open big arenas more for the bigger bands.
PD: So, what are you working on at the moment?
ITAOV: Lots of new music 🙂
