23-October-2019 – California natives, Honey Cane, will release their sophomore album Brother Sister in late October. The album delivers sun-drenched pop and organic Americana with a twist of indie-folk-rock.Brother Sister is an emotional and intimate sonic exploration that leaves you as breathless as watching a wave break perfectly across the glossy ocean surface.
“Every song I’ve written has been inspired by some burst of emotion,” singer/guitarist Jerry Slavonia says. “I don’t write songs because I want to—it feels like I have to.”
Honey Cane – The band is based in Los Angeles, California with roots in the Bay Area. Recorded over several months in L.A., Brother Sister is the follow up to the band’s 2018 debut, Make Wonderful, an album that Stereo Embers Magazine declared to be “a seductive and hook-laden clinic of sultry rhythms and fiery grooves”.
