HighStakes is a PGMA and IMEA Award winning Heavy Rock band from West Sussex UK. The band was formed in 2008 by Robert A Young the founder and inspiration behind the music. This is an originals band with a difference – heavy riff based driving melodic rock, with great songs, ballads and lyrics! Robert’s influences are from: Queen, Meatloaf, AC/DC, Dio, Pink Floyd, Montrose, Bon Jovi….The best of the classic 70’s & 80’s rock metal bands! After some line up changes the band now consists of great musicians who all deliver the band’s signature sound. So far audience’s have been thrilled with the music of HighStakes wherever they have played. The band are working on a new line up and the good news for fans is that they will be in the studio shortly recording new songs and will then be hitting the road once again.We have also made our third video called Broken Chains with our new line up nd its going down a storm . We now have over 360K fans on Reverbnation,Facebook & Twitter. Our songs can be herd on Amazon,Itunes,Spotify,Songcast radio, Reverbnation & YouTube. HighStakes used to be known as Epouranios.
