HIGHSOCIETY is back with an explosive metalcore dubstep mash up in collaboration with acclaimed EDM artist Micah Martin. Micah Martin gives a fierce vocal performance laced through a driving EDM soundscape. “Going Under” is a turbulent twist of metalcore, dubstep, with fierce rock overtones.

“‘Going Under’ is basically the most overdue collaboration ever,” explains HIGHSOCIETY. “Micah and I are both former rock band guys who’ve found our footing in the bass music world by bringing the energy of rock and metal into an EDM container. When I began to put together my list of potential collaborators for my forthcoming album on FiXT, Micah was a must-have, given his aggressive, larger-than-life vocal delivery!’”
The ascending bass music talent that is known as HIGHSOCIETY has been on a rapid rise as of late, thanks to his addictive blend of stadium-crushing future bass, metallurgic dubstep, and blazing trap. With a seemingly endless torrent of releases across standout labels from FiXT, Barong Family, and Universal Music, to Red Bull Records and Lowly Palace/Trap Nation, HIGHSOCIETY has firmly established himself as one of the most exciting new acts in electronic music.
In the past HIGHSOCIETY worked with respected labels such as Dim Mak, Red Bull Records, Island Records, Lowly Palace, Welcome Records, Barong Family, Universal, and now FiXT. He’s also worked with many high-profile artists including AWOLNATION, Attack Attack!, Celldweller, Teddy Killerz, The Anix, Big Shaq, Reid Speed, Palisades, Jade, and Le Castle Vania as well as earned sync placements with HBO, MTV, MTV2, ABC Family, Freeform, and Oxygen. He’s performed live with Knife Party, Kill The Noise, Slushii, Modestep, GTA, and Elohim at many live festivals including but not limited to Live 105 BFD Festival, Bottlerock Festival, Amsterdam Dance Event, and many headline shows across the US.
If he’s not busy writing rock’n’roll anthems with his band The Zealots, you can find Micah Martin crafting up his own style of alternative pop in his studio. You might recognize his voice if you play Fortnite or Rocket League, as his songs are in frequent rotation within those games. In 2020, Martin got his first cut with Don Diablo, Imanbek, & Trevor Daniel. This song is called “Kill Me Better” and it has gotten international radio play all over the world. Travis Barker would later remix “Kill Me Better” and add his own alternative flare to the song. Micah has also worked with some of the biggest names in EDM, here are a few notable artists: Jauz, Kayzo, Slander, Brooks, Rebelion, Dirty Palm, Bear Grillz, Black Tiger Sex Machine, William Black, Fairlane, Crystal Skies, Ghastly, Frank Zummo, and PhaseOne.
