HENSHAW new troubadour track ‘Now it’s 30 years’ 30/09/22

HENSHAW is known for knocking lumps out of his guitar and singing passionately about life and his own experiences. He tours relentlessly across the UK, Europe and has played as far afield as the USA, Canada, China and Taiwan. During Spring 2022 HENSHAW was part of the Xtra Mile Recordings / Nick Alexander Music Trust PET NEEDS Tour.

His NEW ALBUM called “NOBODY CARES, WORK HARDER” is the follow up to the hugely acclaimed FIVE COMPASS LIGHTHOUSE which was released in 2019. Early 2020 saw HENSHAW team up with Dan Booth from FEROCIOUS DOG to play a short run of intimate duet gigs as HENSHAW & BOOTH. These were hugely popular and received universally positive feedback. The pair also released “REVISIT”, a duet album consisting of 10 Henshaw penned songs. They celebrated the end of lockdown with a SOLD OUT show in Feb 2022 and a follow up show booked to take place in February 2023.

He’s supported and shared stages with the likes of Mark Chadwick (Levellers), Newton Faulkner, Will Varley, Tony Wright (Terrorvision), Gary Stringer (Reef), Beans of Toast, Ferocious Dog, amongst many more, and since lockdown has sold out shows in Nottingham, Blackpool, Cambridge, Shrewsbury and elsewhere.

CLICK, ROLL BOOM “folk-esque with a more rocky, punky edge and sounding uncannily like Frank Turner.”
