Interview with Pete Devine of Pete’s Rock News and Views (http://petesrocknewsandviews.com)
PD: What type of artist are you?
HA: An amateur smart enough to chose the right guys to deliver a professional Heavy Metal outcome
PD: Tell us the brief history of yourself.
HA: Singing all the time, everywhere I can
PD: Who are your musical and non-musical influences?
HA: Heavy Metal of the 80’s-early 90’s and movies
PD: What are your dreams and goals?
HA: Leave some good songs behind as a band after all this is done, until then we ‘ll sing and play and present our music wherever we can
PD: Who writes your songs, what are they about?
HA: Writing lyrics is part of my job as a singer of the band and most of the times they come with the vocal line melodies too. Steve G. and our producer Bob Katsionis in both our albums usually complete the arrangement. Our debut had a more Ηard Rock-ish direction so the lyrics were about love and relations mostly, but 7 years have passed,we live in a very different digital society,so on our recent album I took a dive into my past when I was singing in an epic metal band and you can find both Epic themes as well as topics concerning modern social inequalities and warnings of a dystopian world approaching.
PD: How do you promote your band and shows?
HA: Giving interviews is a good start, social media do the rest
PD: What do you think about downloading music online?
HA: We are kids of the 80,s, vinyl (and cd) will always be our favorite format to enjoy the music we like
PD: What song do you wish you’d written and why?
HA: Ooo,there are so many,Europe’s Final Countdown probably as it was something sounding out of this world for me when I first heard it as a teenager
PD: What are some of your pet peeves?
HA: Lack of moral values and judgement in people
PD: What is your proudest moment in music?
HA: Completing my first album I guess
PD: So what are you working on at the moment?
HA: We h ave a new album to present so we ‘ll be on rehearsals for some time
PD: Tell us about your next shows and why we should be there.
HA: At the time you’ll have to visit Greece to be on our shows, and that alone is a very good reason but we also have the material to deliver a variety of interesting songs in our shows
