BRIEF DESCRIPTION:
“Deep In A Hole” – The next single from our upcoming album. The track will be released on all platforms on the 3rd of Feb 2023. A song about that sinking feeling we all had during lockdown; it’s about a character working through those mixed emotions and thoughts of isolation, loneliness, fear of the future & anxiety that we all felt somehow in the last couple of years.

Nirvana, Soundgarden, Queens of the stone age, Foo Fighters, Basement & Citizen.
Ex-members of Hurricane #1 (Creation Records), brothers Carlo & Lucas Mariani formed FREESPIRITS out of their burning passion for music, wanting to shake things up in their local scene & bring rock’n’roll back to the forefront.
Spotify loves their track “Always True” and has had it on one of their editorial playlists since release day back in October ’22.
The track has been streamed more than 60,000 times and has gotten the band new fans all over the world!
Their brand new single “Deep in a Hole” is not even out yet but it’s already getting a lot of rotation on BBC, Amazing Radio and more.
Since then they’ve been going from strength to strength, so much so that the group has been invited to play the world famous SXSW last March.
The boys played their 1st US gigs performing 8 dates all over Texas!
Things went so well that they are now coming back to play their 1st proper USA tour with 20 dates.
They craft their own blend of rock by mixing Britpop & Grunge with the right dose of catchy melodies, fuzzy riffs & heavy beats.
Influenced by some of the greats like Oasis, The Verve, Nirvana, Foo Fighters, Hendrix & Led Zeppelin, their live shows are highly energetic & engaging, playing every gig like it’s their last!
The band came about in 2013 when the brothers left Brazil and moved to the UK in search of a better life and to chase their musical dreams.
Now based in London they’re already making a lot of noise in the capital’s scene working with some of the biggest promoters in the country like Modern Age, End of the Trail and Alan McGee.
Their popularity grew from the underground as they quickly started playing bigger venues like Hope & Anchor, The Garage & 229, followed by tours of Germany, Italy, Brazil & USA creating a loyal fan base across the globe.
They shared stages with Cast, Ride, Echo & The Bunnymen, Ash, Shed 7, Bluetones & Carl Barat.
Their music’s been heavily featured on Amazing Radio UK & USA, Virgin Radio, Islington Radio & BBC Introducing.
Festival appearances include: SXSW, Great Escape, Sound City, Tramlines & Godiva.
The band is finishing their 2nd LP ‘(Into) The Upside Down’ set to be released in March 2023 followed by their 4th and biggest UK/EU Tour in the Summer.
This year the boys have shows scheduled in Italy, Spain, Portugal, USA, Brazil and maybe even a Japanese tour could be on the cards!
They’ve been getting a lot of interest from indie labels so the next few months sound very exciting for the lads with a lot of good news on the horizon!
FREESPIRITS are a band of the people and for the people who’ll surely be making big waves in 2023.
