Fragment Soul – Axiom of Choice

Fragment Soul – Axiom of Choice

FRAGMENT SOUL – album “Axiom of Choice” (7 May 2021, Sleaszy Rider Records)

  1. A Soul Inhabiting Two Bodies
  2. A Choice Between Two Evils
  3. Every Heart Sings A Song
  4. Oedipus Complex

Fragment Soul is a relatively new band, which after their first EP are now coming to take the big step and release “Axiom Of Choice”, an album that shows the love and passion they have for the music genre they serve.

With heavy and at the same time ethereal atmosphere, these guys from the Greek island of Corfu instantly put us in their mood, in an atmosphere of the most emotionally burdened of our autumns. This is a work that vividly depicts the deepest sadness of our soul.

In fact, they add rhythm and melody to all of them feelings and translate all our emotions into notes, with technique, intensity, melancholy and absolute gray coloring.

In addition, Daylight Dies’ Egan O Rourke and Draconian’s Heike Langhans add their touch to match the Fragment Soul style. Everything shows that this debut release has a lot of things to say, despite the small number of tracks.

All the friends of gothic / doom as well as bands like Katatonia and Pink Floyd, will love it.

Without any big words, what this group generally stands for is their love for the dark and their deep sensitivity, things that make a Scottish shower on our emotions.

In general, the wheel may not be discovered here, but their immediate professionalism shows that Fragment Soul are made for great things.
