Waiting On Tomorrow
London-based trio Faded Shades have just released their new single ‘Waiting on Tomorrow’, a jangling pop rock track with refreshing classic vibes and a working class charm to it. The trio are influenced by the mod culture from The Who and Paul Weller but have dipped it in their own sauces for their latest single. ‘Waiting on Tomorrow’ is a delicious guitar-driven alternative rock track with strong vocals, it’s a melodic track sure to stick to your subconscious like the refreshing smell of summer!
Faded Shades are an old school new school band! New music for us is still well in the early 2000’s, the likes of RHCP, Black Keys and Arctic Monkeys. Its only when you realise Noel Gallaghers High Flying Birds have a 10 year anniversary Best Of out it sinks in.
They started life as another band in which Joe & Liam met and honed their skills together as musicians. When this project came to a close the two stuck together and began working on a new band since Joe had written a couple of tracks; all that was needed was a drummer. Many auditions and meet ups later it was decided to be easier teaching Joe’s brother Charlie how to play the drums and there you have it, the three piece line up of Faded Shades was born!
