Facing Fears

Facing Fears stands for Modern Hard Rock. That may sound contradicting to many at first, but Facing Fears embodies exactly this balancing act, which combines the “good old days” with modern sound .

Without using the classic clichés of long-haired robe wearers, the musicians around frontman Deniz Dogru deliver in the vibe of the 80s and 90s with hard and groovy guitar riffs. The formation’s hard rock is modern because Facing Fears is not limited to the old virtues , but instead integrates influences from hard metal and melodic pop music into their songwriting.

As a result, every song creates a familiar feeling for the listener, without missing tension and variety. The trick is to bang music in front of the listener, which does not yet exist in its own right, but immediately catches the ear and gives you the feeling that you have never heard anything else . The first EP “Chapter One” was produced in early 2016 and distributed independently. Songs continued to be written and another single was released. After almost 40 shows in two and a half years, the production of the first long player was finally tackled.

With Aljoscha Sieg (Pitchback Studios)the right producer was found for the realization of the record and with “Horizons” the next trick by Facing Fears hits for the first time under a record contract. In 2020 Facing Fears, including new musicians on drums and bass, will open the next chapter in the band’s history with the single “Forever Ends”. This time, too, the top sound is shaped by the Pitchback Studios and knows how to inspire: You will understand!
