South London based Encoded getting ready to release their new EP, ‘Psychosis’, which is set for general release on the 18th May. Having released the single ‘Our Faith Has Gone’ in late March, a second track ‘Normalisation’ is ready to drop.
When asked to sum up the ‘Psychosis’ EP in one sentence, the band offered:
“An observation of the parallels between a personal and collective state of psychosis.”.
While that may seem a little abstract to the passer-by, once you’ve emerged yourself in the Encoded mindset, it all starts to become clear. The EP’s over-arching theme tells the story of a disenfranchised generation that is ready to reclaim control at any cost.
