Duncan Evans

Once a guitarist for A Forest Of Stars (under the moniker Henry Hyde Bronsdon), Duncan Evans signed to Auerbach Tonträger / Prophecy Productions (Alcest, Xasthur) as a solo artist in 2013, when he released his debut album – Lodestone.
The same year saw him performing at Roadburn and Wave Gotik Treffen festivals and supporting Empyrium in Berlin. In 2018 he supported Dornenreich at the iconic St Pancras Old Church in London. The latest album – Prayers for an Absentee – comprises eight odes of melancholy, yearning and nostalgia.
“Prayers For An Absentee is one of those albums to put on when you want to be moved” – Pete Woods, Ave Noctum webzine“One of the most beautiful and intense discs heard this year” – Metaleyes Iyezine

“Duncan Evans is a singer-songwriter for a lost, tormented and forgotten generation… I love it” – Matt Bacon, Dropout Media
