Dirty Thrills

Dirty Thrills are a young, exciting and charismatic London based hard rock quartet who play bluesy rock ‘n’ roll with an appealing filthy edge, churning out endless crowd pleasers that make guitar music sound sexy again. 

With lung-busting, powerful vocals from front man Louis James, killer guitar riffs from Jack Fawdry and solid low-end grooves from the rhythm section of Aaron Plows and Steve Corrigan, each member’s influences combine to produce a sound reminiscent of Queens Of The Stone Age, The Black Keys and Rival Sons.

​Dirty Thrills formed after a drunken night of jamming in a quiet village pub in Wiltshire, but what started out as an inconspicuous session swiftly birthed an ambitious group with the drive and determination to bring the glory days back to the rock scene. Having released a self-titled debut record in 2014, they signed to Italian powerhouse label Frontiers Music srl in 2016. Their new album, ‘Heavy Living’, was recorded at Monnow Valley Studio in Rockfield, Monmouth and was produced and mixed by James Loughrey (The Darkness, Skindred, Sumo Cyco).

Blues-rock quartet Dirty Thrills will release a new single entitled ’The Brave’ on 20th February and are playing a free acoustic charity show in North London on 16th to promote it. The band state that : “In the sprit of the song, it’s meaning and lyrical message, we will be raising money for the homeless charity Crisis at a free stripped back gig on 16th February at the World’s End pub in Camden. 

We hope to see you all there to raise awareness and funds for a cause close to our hearts.”

The show comes ahead of the band’s previously announced dates in Manchester (26.02 FAC251), 

Norwich (27.02 Waterfront Studio), London (27.02 Underworld) and Birmingham (02.03 O2 Institute 3).

    ’The Brave’ is included on the current Dirty Thrills album, ‘Heavy Living’, and a video for the song  will be made available to coincide with the live shows. It can also be heard here :
