PD: What type of artist are you?
JS: We’re an Indie/Post-punk band
PD: Tell us a brief history of yourself.
JS: We all got in touch with each other during lockdown via adverts, I sent the guys a few demos and decided to start a band.
PD: Who are your musical and non-musical influences?
JS: Musically – David Bowie, Joy Division, Arctic Monkeys, The Strokes, Pixies, The Smiths, the obvious ones really!
Non musically – Old and Indie Cinema
PD: What are your dreams and goals?
JS: A dream is to be recognized as one of the best bands to come out of Leeds and to record a full LP and release it in the charts.
PD: Who writes your songs, what are they about?
JS: I write the core of the songs on piano or guitar at home and then the other lads contribute with their instruments. The lyrically themes change in every song, mostly they’re about common situations that occur in our everyday lives.
PD: How do you promote your band and shows?
JS: Via social media usually!
PD: What do you think about downloading music online?
JS: I prefer to buy records, having the tangible product is way more satisfying
PD: What song do you wish you’d written and why?
JS: Probably Life on Mars – Bowie, one of the best songs ever written isn’t it?!
PD: What are some of your pet peeves?
JS: Someone loudly eating their food, It makes that person eminently punchable in my eyes.
PD: What is your proudest moment in music?
JS: Being played by Steve Lamaqc on Radio 6. It was great hearing us on their.
PD: So what are you working on at the moment?
JS: We’re back in the studio on 13th November to record another track which we aim to release before the year is out!
