Born in the small town of Chaffee, Missouri,USA, Brian Dalton is a rock/pop singer who’spassion for music has been all-consuming from a very young age, with his musicallyinclined family only stoking the fire. His music has been described as “original and fresh, with the picture painted lyrically”,according to 2015’s Indie International Songwriting Competition Judge, Kyle Novy.
Starting in a mainly cover band back in theearly 2000’s, it wasn’t until 2013 that Brian started pursuing his solo career as a singer/songwriter. He enlisted the help of Coty Walker from NBC’s The Voice’s ‘BrothersWalker’, Jake Bond of christian rock band‘Adelaide’, and Noah Henson of Christian rock band ‘Pillar’ to help record his first ep titled “Dalton:The Fall”. Of the 6 songs recorded, his songs “The Truth” and “MyApology” took both 2nd and 3rd in 2015’sIndie International Songwriting Competition. The ep continued to find success landing features in blogs and e-magazines, and giving Brian the opportunity to perform for Shawn Barron of Atlantic Records in Los Angeles, California.
It wasn’t until his song “Drown”, recorded in 2018, that he would see his music reach recognition on another level. From it’s release, it was apparent that “Drown” was going to do something special and since then it has gone on to boast over 1.3 million views on you tube and half of a million streams throughout 86 countries on Spotify alone, and continues to get thousands of streams each week. This led Brian to sign one year non-exclusive deals with Milwaukee Junction Records and Washington Street Publishing.
Since “Drown”, Brian has gone on to work with David Cassavitis, brother of music legend,Tony Orlando at the famed recording studio “The Mansion” in Branson, Missouri. He continues to work with producer Jake Bond, and has added lead guitarist of christian metal band “War of Ages”, Jack Daniels, to his recording team as well
In 2020, when the world was rocked by covid, under the employment of EBO MD, a medical clinic in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, USA, Brian took to checking factory worker employees’temperatures to ensure safety amongst workers. In September of 2020, under the same employment, he began performing covid swab tests, and, since, has tested over one thousand people to help ensure the safety of his community.
Even still, throughout 2020 Brian released 6 new singles. One of which, his single “TheFollower”, went on to be nominated for “Best of Rockfest” in Los Angeles’ first annual music festival Rockfest, held in November of 2020 with Rob Zombie as the guest of honor.
In May of 2021, Brian accomplished his biggest feat yet when he went to Greece and, with the help of director and cinematographer Luna Al Masri, they filmed his documentary titled” Chasing The Sun” where he told his story. Brian will be releasing the title track and 2 new singles upon the documentaries release in the coming months.
