Beneath A Steel Sky

Beneath A Steel Sky

The Lead single (The Audient Void) is set for release on 31st July 2020 and will be premiered by Heavy Blog is Heavy, with the self-titled debut album release planned for 4th September

Grown from a place of lockdown enforced boredom and striving to find purpose, two close friends and former band mates were inspired to re-connect musically having not played together for over a decade. What started as an escape from the bleak and uncertain, rapidly turned in to something positive, productive, and exciting. Beneath a Steel Sky was born.

Enlisting help from four familiar faces from the Glasgow music scene past & present, the line up was complete. For the six, collaboration was something that came naturally, but to do this virtually was a weird and new experience – four of the members having never met before.
Drawing musical roots from progressive metal, post rock & electronica, there was no script for Beneath a Steel Sky to follow. What has resulted is something that is sonically immersive, captivating & veracious.

Looking forward to a post Covid-19 world, the band have already planned to record a live session that will showcase not just their musical creativity, but an expression of their visual identity. There is a full-length album in the works, followed by a tour to support this, once venues are open again.
