PD: What type of artist are you?
BTH: The type who make art for love and passion
PD: Tell us the brief history of yourself.
BTH: Borned in central Brazil, Started to play guitar by 13, played together with my brother for basically my whole life, we release our first EP 2013 travelled to the US in 2014, we split up, then got back together in 2017 and now we’re all set to release our new album “Burn Up This Truth”
PD: Who are your musical and non-musical influences?
BTH: Top 3 on top of my head; Chico Xavier, Santos Dumond, Carl Sagan.
PD: What are your dreams and goals?
BTH: Our biggest dream is to be able to make a living from our work as a band. Travelling around the world spreading our music.
PD: Who writes your songs, what are they about?
BTH: Me and my brother Lucas Alves, our songs talk about socio-political conflicts sometimes using video game stories as narratives to these themes.
PD: How do you promote your band and shows?
BTH: Online, facebook mostly, but we’re mostly active on Instagram. And now we got a PR guy to steup our game and it has been a great experience.
PD: What do you think about downloading music online?
BTH: I think its great, it’s the future. I discovered all the bands I like downloading their songs in downloading apps in the 00’s, the industry and artistis in general must to adapt because this is an old theme to deal with it.
PD: What song do you wish you’d written and why?
BTH: Really don’t know, beacause All the song I listened got me to write the songs I’m writing, but I would say Symbolic from Death
PD: What are some of your pet peeves?
BTH: People who don’t use turn signals, The person who constantly bashes everything you like, People who watch videos in public spaces with no headphones
PD: What is your proudest moment in music?
BTH: Our first USA tour , I don’t know if we can call it a tour , but it was the first time that we had an agenda for shows, in two months we played 4 concerts , which was our first experience with the USA metal scene , making contacts meeting nice people and making fans . best time so far!!! PD. So what are you working on at the moment?
We’re working on the release of our fisrt LP “Burn Up This Truth”
PD: Tell us about your next shows and why we should be there.
BTH: We don’t know when its gonna be but when it happened you can expect a great experience with two guys bringing hell with a powerfull energetic performance and great song to headbanging and vibe with.
