PD: What type of artist are you?
A: ARMAGELION is the combination of theatricality, melodic hard rock, and my own mythology.
To understand what ARMAGELION is all about, it is not enough to listen. You have to see it.
PD: Tell us the brief history of yourself.
A: Armagelion and his mythology come from the fascination for Sci fi, comic books and larger than life characters. Armagelion is the character I never saw, the entity I become when I’m on stage.
It began in Los Angeles, California two years ago, even though the idea of the character came up 10 years ago. I wanted to find the perfect combination between a larger than life character and pure hard rock with reminiscence about the 80s sound but with my own style.
PD: Who are your musical and non-musical influences?
A: Bon Jovi, Europe, Kiss, Great White. Their sound inspired me to create my own.
PD: What are your dreams and goals?
A: I dream of reaching the top, but on my terms. I want to be faithful to what I created and its essence.
PD: Who writes your songs, what are they about?
A: I write all of my songs. I take inspiration from feelings, moments, situations.
PD: How do you promote your band and shows?
A: Mostly Social media, cause I wanna be close to the people. But my label SODEH Records works closely with us and is doing great stuff as well.
PD: What do you think about downloading music online?
A: I believe music, as many industries, has to keep changing in order to be accessible.
However, one element that I have always valued highly in a single or album is its artwork. I believe that artwork is an essential complement to understand and appreciate music.
When you get online music, you lose so many elements about the artwork. And therefore, I think a bit of essence is lost.
PD: What song do you wish you’d written and why?
A: I love many songs, but despite that I certainly wouldn’t wish that I’d written any of them., because each one of my songs represent personal memories and moments.
PD: What is your proudest moment in music?
A: I’m very proud of my latest release. Of course, the moment when I decided to start my career is a milestone and worth being proud about, but I always think that the best is yet to come.
PD: So what are you working on at the moment?
A: Right now I’m promoting my latest single “Lie to Me”, which you can find on every streaming service. Plus, it’s lyric video is now on my youtube channel.
My next single is already done. Stay tuned.
PD: What music have you available online and where can we buy it from?
A: I have two singles out. “Welcome to the Show” and “Lie to Me”. You can listen to them on every streaming service and on my YouTube channel. https://youtube.com/channel/UCasSThRYCsmGX3mHFVuNz0w
