After Alice

South Carolina’s After Alice is the uncompromising vision of Steven Fennell and Jason Crowden, two seasoned musicians that a wealth of talent and experience between them. Formed in the final stages of 2016, After Alice became the main focus for both musicians after a number of other projects had fallen through, and after years of refining their sound, they have released Multi Top 10 Single ‘Alive’ has been chosen by senior curation A & R as one of Reverb Nations Top Songs & Featured on our New Physical EP Now Available at http://kunaki.com/sales.asp?PID=PX00ZKR960&pp=1 New Digital EP Now Available at http://kunaki.com/DigitalSales.asp?PID=PX00ZKR960

‘Alive’ arrives with a triumphant return to old school guitar-driven rock. It’s a track that hits hard at first, cascading waves of guitar over steady line of drums beats to create a hard rock edge that’s softened by subtle pop-energy. It’s a brilliant and intriguing sound, with the tone of the song and guitar work bringing an undeniable, classic rock sound, while Crowden’s impressive vocals and the immutable rhythm of the song help to soften the aggression and make it wonderfully melodic.

It’s the best of both words, enough power to be fiercely anthemic and enough rhythm to be entirely enrapturing. Heavy enough to cut your teeth on, and with enough licks to make you cry out for more, ‘Alive’ is essentially, the perfect introduction to After Alice’s sound, and if the rest of the EP is just as intense, then we’re all in for a real treat.
