A Moments Notice – Interview

Interview with Pete Devine of Pete’s Rock News and Views (

PD: What type of artist are you?

AMN: We are a group of guys who are riding the wave of nostalgia.

PD: Tell us the brief history of yourself

AMN: My name is Greg Molina, Vocalist of this band as well as many other skills, I have been doing vocals for about 15 years now with a large break in my years when I joined the Army. I simply couldn’t find the time to do music and the army as much as I had the hunger to do more music with talented artist I met over the years.

PD: Who are your musical and non-musical influences?

AMN: My musical influences are all over the place, my main  inspirations are Will Ramos from Lorna Shore because his stage presence is just insane plus his vocals, Brendan Yates from Turnstile with his yell screams he does inspired me to bridge that gap between genres, and Mike Hranica from The Devil Wears Prada for one simple fact, he was the first vocalist in metalcore that I listened to that I found so many unique moments in his scream style. Honorable Mentions for musical influences is Linal Richie because of one statement he said on American idol “at the start you have 30 seconds to grab the audience’s attention, you have one song to make them a fan” I use that for all our songs and hope others enjoy that mindset that the band has. My nonmusical influences is a really good question, I honestly would have to say that Gary V is one of the major influences in  my life. He taught me so much about being the business owner I am, as well as playing to my strengths. I owe a lot to him for his mindset.

PD: What are your dreams and goals?

AMN: Our dreams are to do a U.S. and Europe tour at some point wether it be on our own or with a label we want to show the world who A Moments Notice is. I would like to say our goals are also our dreams but one goal is to help someone with our music. Music being a outlet for us I feel like others can resonate with it.

PD: Who writes your songs, what are they about?

AMN: We write all our songs and then bring them to our producer Nick Miller of A Skylit Drive, he listens and then pushes us that extra step to making great music. His help with guiding our ears to what our true potential helps immencely. Our songs so far have been about emotional trauma and the songs we are currently working on fit that mold well. We want to talk about the moments that we all feel from time to bring awareness that no one is alone, and that you survived 100% of your worst days and today is just another.

PD: How do you promote your band and shows?

AMN: I promote the band pretty heavily on social media, in the beginning of the band it was just myself doing it all. I have lots of help now, but I tend to come up with marketing strategies and content for us so that we can stay in the light of others feed.

PD: What do you think about downloading music online?

AMN: Personally I cant say I dislike it or like the idea. As a musician I get the fact we spend lots of money of gear, recordings, photos, graphic, etc. It’s a tough road starting a band this late in the industry. My only thing is support local music or just music in general.

PD: What song do you wish you’d written and why?

AMN: The one song I wish I would of wrote would have to be the ones I didn’t turn my time period in the Army. I missed a lot of time to increase my talent as a musician and put it to the side.

PD: What are some of your pet peeves?

AMN: Oh man my pet peeves, people just being rude. I am a very mellow person for the most part, I have my goofy moments like anyone. I just believe be kind or don’t say anything life is a little too short to be rude.

PD: What is your proudest moment in music?

AMN: My proudest moment would have to be in the studio working with Nick on our debut single that released on November 5th 2021. I really stepped out of my comfort zone being a deathcore vocalist making a post-hardcore song and never singing on a track and then doing it was a challenge that by the end of it I was actually really proud of.

PD: So what are you working on at the moment?

AMN: At the moment, we are currently working on a record. We have put shows off to the side for now until we feel we are where we want to be. The record has been honestly one of my favorite moments for this group. As the vocalist its super humbling being around a bunch of talented musicians just really working hard to bring the best sound possible to everyone.

PD: What music have you available online and where can we buy it from?

AMN: We currently have our two singles out “ Silver Lining” and “ Endless Waltz” and they are available to everyone on every stream platform with more to come in the following months.
